Warsaw Community Development Corporation (WCDC) will be hosting a “Downtown Development Tour” on Wednesday, October 9th. The Downtown Development Tour is a unique opportunity to tour six magnificent historic buildings in the Downtown Historic District of Warsaw, Indiana. Visitors can see first-hand the superior craftsmanship of artisan builders in these stately buildings while hearing fascinating tales about their history from local historians. Whether you admire historic architecture or are looking for a building for a downtown business or development, you won’t want to miss this rare opportunity to tour some of the most beautiful historic architecture in downtown Warsaw! Registrants will also enjoy a tour of a newly constructed townhouse in the Buffalo Street Project Development and can learn more about this exciting downtown development directly from developer, David Matthews, Matthews Development, LLC. Registration prior to the event is required, tickets are $10 each. Check in will be at the VIC at ONE TEN Craft Meatery at 2:30pm followed by a welcome from Todd Zieger with Indiana Landmarks at 3:00pm and the tour beginning at 3:15pm. A reception at the VIC will follow the tour at approximately 5:30pm. Buildings are not ADA compliant, limited to the first 100 registrants.
