This week for Main Street Monday we are featuring Mayor Jeff Grose! Mayor Grose is the new mayor of the City of Warsaw and is very honored to be able to serve in this role. While he serves, he wants to promote “neighbors serving neighbors while cultivating community.” Through this motto, he hopes to help make what is already good even better. He likes to get involved in the community and meet people. He knows that the best way to serve the community as mayor is to gain their trust and interact with them. As the new mayor, he brings a fresh perspective and approach to how he plans to serve in this role. He has 24 years of experience being a councilman which will help him as mayor, but he also plans to learn from others to help him be the best mayor he can be. His favorite thing about downtown is how it is such a nice place to be and how active it is. One way he plans to help make downtown even better is by continuing Façade Grants which is made possible through the partnership between City Hall and Main Street Warsaw. He also wants to continue supporting the Chamber and other organizations as he sees the benefits they bring to the community. As Mayor Grose steps into this new role, he wants to serve this community and help cultivate a greater sense of community among the residents. Mayor Grose also wants to encourage communication between the government and the people, so if you have any questions or concerns, make sure to contact him, a member of the Common Council, the Clerk-Treasurer, or a fellow resident serving on a board or commission! Thank you to Mayor Grose for letting us feature you as this week’s Main Street Monday!
